Hi,
I'm having the same problem as Jen...trying to transfer to CC hosting from #@!*&$! godaddy.com (sorry for the #@!*&$, but they've been frustrating me for 6 months, and I still don't have a website up!).

I used CC to create our website, and it appears to be sitting on the S-drive. I am trying to figure out exactly what to type into the "Host" and "points to" boxes. I have 64.224.11.156 in the "points to;" what do I type into the "Host" box? I've tried several things... still getting their bloody error message!

Go to the cname records, remove what is in there, and replace it with yourname.coffeecup.com

And then wait 48 hours, go to sdrive account and do the test to see if its propgated, if it says success go to bottom of sdrive page and SAVE Settings

Thanks for the quick answer. I still have 64.224.11.156 in the "points to" box, and put laughingfoxstudio.coffeecup.com in the "Host" box. This is one of the combinations I've already tried. Still get the error, and godaddy won't let me save the zone file until I "correct" the error (Please enter either @ or a valid host name such as: "subdomain.domain.tld)! Afterwhile, godaddy just deletes my newly (attempted) added cname and I'm back to square one.

AAAARRRGGGG!

This seems to be a problem when the registrar is also a host

Have you considered moving your domain out of Goddady to someone like domainmonster.com

Mine are all with domainmonster, and all i had to do was change the actual cname record to myname.coffeecup.com it worked straight away, once i understood what was necessary.

Have a look at them, they have an easy free transfer in for your domain, and there keen on price for domains as well

alternatively its time to put a support ticket into CC or better still make a call to CC monday and get them to talk you through while your in your godaddy account.

@SirAGE: yes, I tried that help article...but the instruction says to
"Enter your domain name in the input box next to "http://" and click the Check Domain button."

Trouble is, there is no "input box next to "http://" " on the page when I get there!!
