Upload Selected Files with FTP behaviour

I've recently purchased CC HTML editor for maintaining my website www.knowsynotes.com.

I'm often updating a single html file and have been trying to use the 'Upload Selected Files with FTP' context menu option to upload the changed files. All my html files are in the root of my website but unfortunately, when I use this method, the file is uploaded to a /knowsynote/ folder on my website.

If I use the File -> Upload to Server -> FTP Account -> knowsynotes -> root method the file is correctly uploaded to the root folder.

How can I get the 'Upload Selected...' context menu to work the same way? It's very handy and would very much like to use it!

Thanks
John http://www.knowsynotes.com

Select the file you want and press F4. :P "An Apple doth not fall far from its tree, yet an orange does."

It puts it into a /knowsynotes/ folder rather than the root. That's the problem I'm trying to solve!

If it's doing that then you have that file in that folder rather than in the root John. Take that file and move it to the root if that's where you want it to upload. When you upload with the HTML Editor, it only uploads to exactly the same place on your server as you have it structured on your computer so any files in a folder will create that folder on your server and upload to that folder. Aha, yes. I had the root of my website project as c:\websites\ rather than c:\websites\knowsynotes\. I changed that and it's working as expected now. I'm not sure why using the 'File -> Upload to Server' option worked differently but I'm pleased that the F4 option now mirrors it.

Thanks! http://www.knowsynotes.com

You're quite welcome John,

It's always nice when it's just the little things and they get fixed so quickly. Enjoy your new upload option :) Jo Ann
