I think it's really great that your trying to learn webby stuff and esp when you have a learning disability. I have ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome although it's different to your problem it is still possible to learn this stuff. I learned HTML/CSS and Javascript/vbscript programming years ago. I found HTML quite easy CSS a bit harder. With CSS as long as you get the basics your always learning I've found. As to programming you can get away without it, with CSS been so advanced now.
In the Coffeecup HTML editor I would recommend learning all about the "insert" section of the menu, most of what can be done is done through that.
Of course there seems to be some really helpful advice on this forum and everyone has to start somewhere.
