I'd been using an old version of Dreamweaver before buying CoffeeCup HTML Editor.
In Dreamweaver's split screen view, which shows an editor (visual and code)
in each screen, when you put your cursor on a character or
highlight text or code in one screen, the highlighted or pointed to area appears
in the other screen. This doesn't seem to happen with CoffeeCup. Is there
a setting that allows it?
If not, I suggest it as a feature.
Thanks.

HTML Editor split screen preview? -...
Suggest away Ellen, we've been asking for a couple years for that feature and the more the merrier asking for it is my opinion lol. Put that in the suggestions thread so they know there's yet another person wanting that tie between the preview/visual and code editing system.
Right now the preview window is just that, preview only. It's still very helpful to be able to see your work as you make it etc., but that's all there is for it. And don't swap between the visual and code editors thinking that will do that trick, they don't play nice together so stick with one or the other of those also.

Is there any way to edit on the visual screen?

You must be talking about the preview screen. No, no editing, just preview.
