scared to post this because it must be something so silly that I am doing or missing. But here goes.
From bar open "Common Color Box"
opens with selected color #FF8040
click picker
go to web site, click area. say red bar
The "selected color" is the same red but the Hex is still #FF8040

How do you get the hex for the selected colour?

Hi, I would think if you also click on " add to saved colors, then it would show up on the right under saved colors along with the numbers needed...

Thanks Bruzer. I see the emoticon so I'm taking that you figure that is obvious. First, I didn't want to save the colour.

Second, To me, it is a bug.
If the colour is picked and is correctly displayed in the "Selected Color" area the Hex code underneath it should match.

Hi ericB, I have to go along with you there my friend. However, I click on the save color, and after getting the number I need I can always right click delete. all in all I agree with you.
