Hi Dave,

yes thats what I have been doing and I tried it again but I'm still getting the message "Preview not available"

Hi Tassie
When you down load the bundle ffrom CC it contains several themes.
This is a long shot but I am unzipping one theme at a time to CChtml not the whole bundle.
I use CC free unzip program If you use another product download their free unzip and use that.
Just trying to eliminate why you cannot preview. .
When you unzip the bundle, try to unzip to a folder outside of program files eg CCthemes.
Now in that folder do you see the individual themes frm the bundle but still zipped.
Then try to unzip one theme at a time into program files-CC software-themes-mythemes.
I cannot simulate downloading the bundle from CC site as CC would charge me for the download.
if that does not work I could email you my punk 80s theme which is zipped and I know allows me to preview it on my PC.
This would test ifthere is a problem n CC bundle.

Hi Dave,

Yes I am unzipping one at a time and tried both unzipping to a file outside the themes folder and then tried directly to it and no preview with either method. And I'm using the CC unzip program.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

Jeez Tassie I cannot understand why it wont work.
The themes CC are selling as bundles I have as individual themes on my PC I am able to preview but (here is the rub ) I did not buy them as the bundle currently being sold and I got mine pre CC html 2009.
I wonder if CC have done something to the bundling of the themes which is screwing up you being able to preview the themes.
I would now suggest raising a support ticket with CC. I would be very interested inthe reason why you cannot preview.

Hiya guys,

Tassie is this for "all" the themes you are trying to add or just "some"? I've just installed 19 themes for the HTML editor, and I've come across only 1 that doesn't show up in a preview. I unzipped all of them in one shot (meaning I highlighted every zip file and unzipped them all at the same time to the same 2009 folder in the Themes folder). When I opened the folder for that particular one it's because it's missing the .png file (the image file for the preview). It does contain a .psd file which is a paint shop or photo shop type file which you could probably make a preview file with if you have the program to do so. Otherwise I would suggest you put in a ticket and let Support know that some of the themes are missing the preview files.

Providing of course that this is the same problem you're having. Check in the folder of the one(s) you are having problems with and see if they have the .png file in there or not. If not then it's just a matter of CC needing to update their theme files so they contain them. If so, then I dunno what the problem is for you either as they work fine for me except for the one missing the preview file which I'll make one myself for it.

Is it "all" the themes for you? Or is it just "some" of them, and if "some" then which ones are they please? I can then check to see if I have those and if they are working for me.

That might be the answer Jo Ann as they only have the psd file.

The themes are these: https://www.coffeecup.com/store/themes/html-editor/bundle/shopping-cart-default-html-editor-theme-pack/

I originally had them all unzipped and in the folder and I'm pretty sure none of them had previews, but have since deleted those folders and now only have 4 themes in there trying different things t get them to work and all of these only have the psd file no png file.

This flu is really messing with my head and energy levels so can't sit at the computer for long at a stretch.

Here's a little trick that might work. Go to the link you posted in your post above, right click the image for a theme you are missing the png file for and choose to view it (in whatever way your browser allows you to do so) and save it to your computer. Save it right to the coffeecup theme that it belongs to even if you want. That may fix your preview problem since it looks like the images of the thumbnails when viewed on it's own are the ones that are inside the theme files too. Do this for each of your themes that are missing previews and that should fix you up.

Also if that works, take those images and put them inside the zip files too inside the folders that are in them. That way if for some reason you need to "re" unzip them to install them again they will have the previews already in them that you put there :)

Thanks Jo Ann. I've raised a support ticket so hopefully the theme pack will get updated and I won't have to go to all that work. :)

Not a problem only sorry I could not resolve this. I am baffled why they work for you got to be a simple answer.
I am sure CC support will have an explanation why you are unable to preview themes.
Do let me know to satisfy my curiosity and I will also have an answer should we get another user with this problem.
