Am I dreaming? I thought II posted a thread about how to upload new themes to the HTML editor?

I thought I had and Dave was helping me and now I can't find it.

If you find my marbles I'll have those back to ...
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

You know what? I did too, and I got really really confused, as did Monica too I believe when I saw the same exact thread in the SCC forum instead and it is referencing SCC themes not HTML themes. Did you post 2 of them? Or did one of them just happen to disappear? I know the one I had read yesterday was about HTML themes and I was shaking my head today trying to figure out how that HTML turned into a SCC lol, but maybe you posted both and the HTML one is in the wrong place? Lemme see if I can locate it if it's truly there.

Just found it ...thank you all. It got moved to the SCC forum as there was some confusion.

I was actually talking about Editor themes even though they have a confusing name.

Theses are the themes I was talking about :

Hi Tassie
Lost you I was loking in onSCC and note your back in html.
Can we stay on this html thread I too am losing my marbles here
this is what I posted earlier
Hi Tassie
CC moved the thread thinking your problem was shopping cart theme.
However back to my original post.
One of the themes in the bundle is punk 80's and I can open it up in the html editor.
So download the bundle unzip it.
In the path C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\Themes\ .
you should see your theme folders
take the punk 80's for example inthe folder there will be the following sub folders
80s punk topright nav (the html)
css
js
images
IF you double click on the html folder you will see the html files for the theme and be able to view/edit them.
Is that what you want to do or are you encountering problems after the download/unzip?
LEt me know if still having problems and at what point

Hi Dave,

since I first posted I have found that I can open the themes and work on them...I think...as it was late and I now have gastro so working on minimal energy and haven't explored properly.

My original issue and the one that remains is that I can't preview the new themes in that pop-up where you choose a theme. This makes it really difficult to decide which one would work best for a project as you have to start a new project to actually look and see what it looks like or go back and forward between the website and the program when choosing, neither of which are good options.

Could it be an issue with the Preview file?

Hi Tassie
Yea I have the same issue I cannot preview punk 80's when you select file- new from theme.
As you have found you can edt tem but its a pain you cannot preview.
I have a folder 2009 themes and I can preview those!!!!
I think there is a glitch with some of the themes not allowing you to preview.
I think we are both in agreement there and were just about to confirm this when the thread was transfered to SCC and I lost you.

Hi Tassie
think i have solved it
If you look at path program files- cc software -themes
thereare 2 folders 2009 themes amd my themes
If you un zip one of your themes into folder my themes
then preview folders in my themes and you can see the theme you just unzipped and preview it
PS make sure you close the html editor when you unzip your theme.
Give it a go
