I'm a low impact user, ie usually once a year in January to change the date and make a few page changes but here are a few suggestions which would make VSD better-

- Snap to Grid
- The ability to zoom into the page to adjust positioning
- Centering or justifying lines of separate selected text boxes so they line up when above and below each other on the page
- Rather than the process of selecting text and going through several steps to convert to graphics just make it a one command process.
- Many Undo levels
- When you place a graphic the properties box should contain its filename
