I have a website that has abou 90 pages, They are very similar and differ mostly in Text. Still there are thousands of pics uploaded as VSD does not recognize them as the same. WOuld be nice if this could bechanged. It even seems that VSD keeps old ones and simply adds new ones.

Unfortunately, that is what the current software design is stuck with; and this has been brought up to CC before but no immediate resolution.

In a sense, VSD has no concept of 'shared images' between pages (or even on the same page, but I have not checked). Any image you placed on a page is (essentially) assigned a number (internally) and that is how the program keep tabs on "objects" (if you will allow the term).

There is suppose to be VSD 7 this summer that may address some of the shortcomings, but we shall see :-)
