I have a VSD version 3. It is an excellent program except I can't get it to up load to AOL. Every time I try to up load I get an error message that it was unable to create a catalogue. Has anyone else had trouble up loading to AOL?

I've been fortunate enough to never see that catalog error before, although many others have. That being the case, I can't help much, but I'd definitely consider upgrading to the latest version if you purchased VSD from CoffeeCup (free upgrades for life). If you bought it in a Cosmi package off a retail store's shelf, you may be eligible to upgrade for a reduced price. They've upgraded so much since version 3 and a lot of work has gone into the uploading process (which may do away w/ that catalog error). If you did get it from a Cosmi package, you'll have to contact CoffeeCup directly regarding the option to upgrade:
