Can I Use Website Access Manager on a Windows Server?
Nope, sorry. Because .htaccess files are only compatible with Apache and Apache-compatible servers (including lighttpd and EhttpD), Website Access Manager cannot be used on Windows-hosted servers. Although you can install Apache on a Windows server, you will not be able to use Website Access Manager. Instead you would use MMC/Site Properties under IIS.
You can find some great information about this process at Hosting.com.
