Using the Change Map Image... functionality, if I select a PNG file (24 or 32 bit), I get a "Unknown File Type" error. Even if the existing image is a PNG.
Selecting a GIF works (as long as it's at least the same size as the original image), but we're using PNGs for publishing and need to have as few steps as possible, so we don't want to have to use a GIF as a temporary workaround when creating the maps.

We are publishing to SharePoint 2013, but all we are after is the ability to create the image map code so it can be copy/pasted into SharePoint. We're not after an automated toolchain.
