Image showing on website project

Hello,

So I am using coffee cup site designer. I have added 2 pictures (president's picture and membership picture) to my website project. They show up when I am editing and in preview. However, when I save and export the project and upload using Coffee cup Direct FTP, the images are not there and show the placeholder picture alt description. I went through the forums and did some editing. At first, I had spaces and capital letters in the picture name. I changed that (went from Angies Pin.JPG to angiespin.jpg) but still no success. The website is ilala.org. If someone could take a look and help out, it would be greatly appreciated. I am a beginner at this so we may have to dumb down the explanation! :D

Krista, open your web site live home pg. Rt click on the pg and select view pg source. Go down to line 224 of the source code and your image name is missing an s in the name transcription.

So you can open your Site Designer Project and open your 'Resources" tab, re-name your image (double click on the name) or go to the link pointing to the image(s) and chane it to point to the appropriate image)

That way you don't have to keep editing your project file everytime you export it

All,

So I was mistaken, the file should be angiepin.jpg. There was no "s" in it. I tried right clicking on the picture from the resources tab and creating an image link that way but it still will not show when the website is uploaded using FTP. I am also having issues uploading links using PDFs. I have the pdf saved in resources under a subfile. I followed the same link location as previous links (its a monthly newsletter that comes out) and it is not working. When you click on it, it comes up with the 404 code. I have attached a screen shot of the file location. The one I am attempting to add is sept_23.pdf.

The two images angiegolightly.jpg and angiepin.jpg are not in the img folder on the server. That is why they don't show up. Whether they are there by different names, or perhaps somewhere else on the server is unknown to me, but I presume that as soon as they are found and popped into the img folder, they will show up on the site.

I think you are going to have to send the project file so that we cn look at it, and discover the problem (maybe then even a demo for you to follow along to the screenshot doesn't help really.

It would be best to post the project file to dropbox then post the link here or if you prefer not to post it publically, then send it to my email direct and I will take a look (Inger maybe will contact ou too)

here is the link to my email

Coffeecup Site Designer is your site builder, not your hosting server. Wayan is asking where the site is hosted, where you upload it to.

I searched for those two images in the img folder, but they were not found. Are you sure you have them in your uploaded img folder too, not just on your own machine?
