Hi, I have created a website using VSD. I like the program however I am having a very frustrating problem trying to centre text.

I create a page, centre it the text between two vertical guides. When i preview the website it looks fine, however when i upload it... the page is all over the place. What is going on??

Hi Paul,
One thing that might be causing the text/paragraphs not to line up is the different sizes of text boxes.
I think the easiest way to get what you want is to insert one vertical guide (it will appear in the center of the page), then click on each section of text (blue box) and/or pictures and move them 'til the center of their boxes are over the guide line. You can use the arrow keys to move them one pixel at a time to get things placed exactly.

The problem is the hard turns your doing to force your text to a new line. In other words don't hit the enter/return at the end of a sentence to force the text to the next line. Type your text and re-size the boundaries of the text box to get the text to the width and line content that you like. If that doesn't get all of your text handled put the line that needs to be spaced down more in it's own text box. Also as Painbrush stated take advantage of those guide lines for making things line up.
