Because many aspects of the program query services that are online by passing your URL to them, scanning files locally would prevent those from working. We would have to basically disable all features except the Components, Insight and Keywords Tab(s).

I so wish we could, but not currently at this time. However we do have 3 OS X programs in the works, so you will have something new soon. ;)

Obviously as you pointed out as well many of the features wouldn't be any use to an unpublished site, but to be able to hit a button and get a report including WC3 errors and suggestions for things to improve relating to SEO across your entire project/site would still be very useful. But maybe that's really a suggestion for the HTML Editor to complement he HTML/WC3 markup service. Regardless, this is still too useful to not buy, great job :)

I ran the Websight Insight trial and liked what I saw so much I immediately bought the program. It's perfect for how I want to get all of this kind of data in one place.

Here's my vote for the next round of enhancements to include actual websight insight, not just a page at a time. I can work with page at a time until you get there, though. It's that good.

Unless I missed it, I would like to see a printable report option. I could give a list of reasons if needed, but I am sure many obvious ones come to mind.

(I do see print report for recommendations. Very nice, but even better if in other areas)

Nice program. I have used online tools, but this is much more clean and easy decision to purchase.

Right now the recommendations is the only printable report, but we will have more reports set for version 3. We wanted to get a few more tools implemented before tackling that one. ;)

I understand that it's not currently in the works, but I can't justify paying for a windows version.

Hopefully soon a OS X version will be available.
