And to be clearer, now that the right-clicking task has been done, I'll finish up the watermarking. Halfway there now.

You are most welcome Jennifer.

Yes it sure is a friendly and helpful community here.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said...but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not exactly what I meant.

People can't steal images from within flash animations or .swf files can they?

I may be wrong here, but I believe they can only get the flash file (swf or fla) but not individual images from the swf's or .fla, of course they can take a screenshoot of the image to copy it right? IMO

Probably wise to assume they can and either only upload images that you can deal with being pinched or make them unattractive enough not to be stolen..as with a watermark or slight blurring.

I reckon if someone is determined enough they will find a way.

Yep, Bruzer is right. Screenshots can be used to grab images embedded in flash. If it's worth the trouble to them, they can even download the flash and decompile it.

Screenshots are usually worthless to me because the resolution is so low, but you are right. They could always do that. There's no javascript that will disable screenshots!

True, a screen shot saved as a jpeg would lose information, but a png would be of equal quality to what is seen in the browser.
