Where to install graphics

So far I'm pretty disappointed. The graphics pack install didn't let me pick where to install. That's a big deal for me; I develop all day in very optimized environment, so when something starts stuffing stuff where it "thinks" is logical, it messes me up. Idiosyncratic? Probably, but other software vendors don't seem to feel so. The vector image format is nice for scaling, but getting it into a common format usable by all browsers shouldn't be a pain -- not all browsers take png's (and I get paid for making sure all my customers can see my icons) and I couldn't see an alpha setting for you jpeg (so heaven help if the background color changes or is other than white..). The tool is the right size but unless it fits into normal work flow it is disappointing.

Personally I like that the graphics go to a particular location. Makes it easy to diagnose other users problems when we know where the graphics should be.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Hiya Edwin,

Other than that it does what it's supposed to do for most people, the way around the directory issue is... move it. I don't think it matters at all where that directory is located. I will have to test that theory, but I would imagine it will save it to whatever directory you opened it at. Go to the directory location and move it.

You have to navigate manually to the folder to get to them anyways so I don't think it matters where you navigate to. Move it and see what happens when you save. If it works, issue fixed for you :)
