Lots of great features coming in the form builder soon too so even though it's already pretty robust, they aren't done yet with it. Enjoy Terry :)

Could you please tell me where the Email TO: is embedded in the exported files, and also the location of the Thank You Page.

I have a situation where the same form is going to be used for many different users. and being able to change this info in the files directly would speed up things a lot.

Thanks.

Thanks again, Jo Ann. Hopefully you're getting a commission here, you talked me into it. Just bought it.

By the way, it you go to the CoffeeCup main menu, Software, and Web Form Builder, it shows the 1.1 Beta at $19. The buy link doesn't work, though.

So, just one more question. In the years I've owned CC software, I've never uninstalled any of it. I just tried to uninstall Lite, and I can't seem to do that. :P Any idea where the uninstall option is for CC software?

Thanks again...

Jo Ann is great!

That is for OSX. The Windows version is $39 and you purchase that here at www.coffeecup.com/web-form-builder

The best way to uninstall software is always through the Windows Control Panel > Remove Programs

Gees, I just went back and saw what I did on the menu. Thanks, Scott.

On the uninstall, I knew I could use the Windows uninstaller, but I always use Revo Uninstaller for uninstalls to make sure everything is cleared (registry, files, folders, etc.). But, going that way it just wants to do a reinstall. So, I went to the Start menu to directly use the CC uninstaller and found there wasn't one. Next I went to the Form Builder folder in Program Files to run the uninstaller directly, and there wasn't one.

Don't know why I'd never noticed that before, but as I said I've never had the need to uninstall a CC program. I just figured I was missing something and thought I'd better ask. Guess I hadn't. Thanks again, Scott...

Hope it works out nicely for you Terry, I'm sure you'll love the program as much as many of us do. I can't wait for the next update as it's going to be a great one and it's not too far in the future! Enjoy!

I've been using the old version for a long, long time Jo Ann, wouldn't have been without it.

I made my first one with the new version last night and got it uploaded today. Pretty slick. I miss a few of the options (or maybe it's option placement) from the old version, but it's just getting used to something new. For instance, I looked all over the Properties for an option to tell it a field was an email field (I had started with a template), and couldn't figure out how it knew it was. Finally dawned on me the template had been made with the Magical Element 'Email'. Duh! I shouldn't try to learn new things on the fly while I'm in a hurry.

Same thing with the lack of a height field in the form properties, where did it go? Again I realized, doesn't need it.

I also like the way it exports to the folder structure to keep things tidy, and a lot of other things about it. Basically, it's a great new version of an old favorite. Just have to spend a few minutes with it. And one of these days I'll even have to take a closer look at this S-Drive thing, I've just always been hesitant about depending on anything not located on the client's server. I'll have to find some docs on how it works.

And thanks again for the push... ;)

I have commented on the height of the fields ... never got a response, I guess maybe it is too newbie of a question. I did find the post on editing the CSS, and thanks for the info Hazy! I have not totally figured out how to make it work right yet ... but I will.

I think that the height of the all the fields in comparison to the drop downs makes the forms look off ... the drop downs are like half the size as other fields and it seems to me that if I could reduce the height of the fields I could also gain a bit more room on the form. Maybe it's just me and I am missing something

Okay, have been playing with the new form builder a while and have a couple questions.

The first is, how do I go about changing the font size and color for the text entry boxes? I know how to change it for the text on the form itself, but the text in the entry boxes is too small and light.

Second, I don't want a border on the form, and I've turned it off, but it's still there. It's definitely not the border on the frame I'm placing the form in. Am I missing something?

Lastly, I can't seem to get Preview to work. It comes up with the message telling me the Submit button won't work in Preview, I click the Preview button, but nothing happens. Missing something there, too?

Also, it would be nice if there was an alternative way to show error messages. As it is, the error messages extend the length of the form, so depending on how many error messages you could possibly have the form length can extend quite a ways. This can really mess with page layout.

Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated. Thanks...
