Hello,

Hope you're all right !

I've just bought WFB yesterday and i'm struggling with something and it starts to scares me a bit because i'm feeling that i perform such an operation in the software.....

My question is the below :

Our pricing structure is strictly based on ranges :

Minimum ordering 100.000 units

From 100 000 units to 500 000 units, Price per unit is 0,05
From 500 001 units to 2.000.000 units, Price per unit is 0,04
Above 2.000.001 units, Price per unit is 0,03

The price depends on the quantity, so when the user a quantity, he should get the Quantity * The price that is within the proper range.

Is there a way to achieve this ?

Thank you very much for your help.
Best,
David

One way is to use a condition and ask the user if the amount of units they will be ordering is between the ranges and then show them the correct info based on that.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Thanks Eric,

I'm sorry and this is maybe because i'm a newbie but I don't really understand if this is possible or not : The user will have to type a quantity of items to order, then, depending on the quantity, the total price should appear in a "total to pay" field, knowing that a "read-only" field will show the pricing info for the user to advise.

I can see how to set up a rule to show (or not show) a field, which may be a workaround if only i can handle how to program mathematical signs like '>' or '<' within the software, but i can't see where i should set conditions.

Thank you very much for your help.

Use a checkbox with three checks and set the conditionals accordingly.
If they check option one.
Are you purchasing 100 000 units to 500 000 units?
Show the input for them that is set as a multiplier and has the .05 amount
If they check option two.
Are you purchasing 500 001 units to 2.000.000 units?
Show the input for them that is set as a multiplier and has the .04 amount
If they check option three.
Are you purchasing above 2.000.001 units?
Show the input for them that is set as a multiplier and has the .03 amount

Thank you Eric.

I've attached the form here : http://www.fidealiste.fr/Order_Test_exp … r_Test.php

I do not fully understand the logic behind it so i'm sorry if i'm a pain with this....It seems all right but who knows ;-)

I'm missing a couple of elements though :

- Is there a way to see a non modifiable Total Amount below the number of items ordered prior to go to the payment page ?
- Is there a way for the user to see the unit price in a static non modifiable field apart from writing it in the description in the Dropdown menu directly (e.g. : + 1001 Points / 0.02 per point)
- Is there a way to define unit price with 4 decimals ? (I'm asking this because i'm selling loyalty points and the value must be be that precise)

Thank you very much for your help

I've help a few people use JQuery to accomplish this type of thing if you want the info to show before submit. Try searching the forum and see if you can find some of those post. If you need more help post back.

Ok i'll look into the forums.
I think i found something for the total and i'll dive into it.
For the decimals in the unit price however i didn't find a topic related to it, so if you can provide me with a hint it'll be awesome ;)
Thank you

Eric,
I'm sorry but i can't find anything that relates to customizing the number of digits for the Unit Price.
Maybe there is a file in the Export Folder where this can be changed ? If so, please tell me where ir is as i've sorted out everything else !!
Thanks !
David
P.S : By the way, i like your dog ;)
