Multiple Buttons - Page 3 - Post ID...

I think you and others don't understand the concept of delivering what your clients want. As a hobbyist you can create all the unorthodox pages you can dream up. People who code for someone else are given instructions they need to follow. Ever since Moby Dick was a minnow forms and dialogs had multiple buttons. Does Yes, No, Cancel ring a bell?

The statement " ..., so why would they cancel?." is ludicrous. Why do they erasers on pencils? The person guiding that pencil made a conscious decision the write what they wrote. So why would they want to erase what they wrote...

Also, you may have noticed the page you wrote your response on has 2 buttons.

Good points. However, in this forum you are talking to other users such as yourself. We don't work for CoffeeCup, although we love them! There is a forum for making suggestions for programs. I'd put in a suggestion, then wait for the update. Gotta love the FREE updates! Or, you can open a support ticket and maybe a CoffeeCup guru can advise you on what to do. Worth a try...:D

We "are" talking about a web form here not Forums Frank, so you really cannot compare the complexity of what is needed in a Forum to what is needed in a form. Personally if I want to cancel a form I'm filling out I refresh the page or I close it, simple as that. Now having said that I do agree there have been many forms I have filled out over the years that have had Submit, Cancel, Clear, Reset, and numerous others I'm sure. The beauty of this form builder is the fact that you can do whatever you want to with the code once you've created the form so add some buttons if that's what you want.

Other than that, do what Gunsmoke mentioned and put a post in the Suggestions thread to request it. You'll find that not too many have requested this feature, but that doesn't mean it may not be added. I just wouldn't use that lack of buttons as how well the program works, because I do know you'll be hard pressed to find anything better than this out there for this type of price with "free" updates and the amount of customer support you'll find here. Very hard pressed indeed.

If you look at my original post I was asking other users how to do something, not requesting Coffee Cup Software rewrite their software to suit me. I thought that is what forums are for. I can't believe the responses to this subject.

Well no worries, but my response is to your last post which did make it sound like you were asking them to do it :P

So are we looking for process buttons or buttons setup as links?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I would also like to add a second button but not on the first page of the form. I am not wanting to hijack this thread but since it is kind of the same question...

Is there a way to use WFB to make a form with multiple steps or multiple pages?

Page one: (drop down) choose Industry. Then submit button #1
Page two: (drop down) choose city/state. Then submit button #2.
Page three: general contact page email, phone number then Submit button #3.

Use custom redirect url and redirect from page one to page two after submit. Same for page 2 to page 3.:)

I have seen this request and I believe Eric and I are on the same page. An ordinary web page can have logic ie: links to multiple forms. A page can be just as effective in delivering if this then that or else here.
Which is the basis of any language decision process. Therefore the first segregation is made on the first page.
It does not matter what flavour you use a form on a page gathers data with limited interrogation properties.
There is a survey system available whose name escapes me at present. But any outcome requires manipulation.

Frank Now to the point of additional buttons. If you design your form to fit in with the page it is embedded on just duplicate the submit button rename it and link to whatever your heart desires. Done properly no one would know where the form ends and add on's start. It may not be ideal to you but I am sure you have bigger issues. If you believe Dreamweaver is the go, Go for it. I am sure it is not all rosy over there if you search the forums here you may find some surprising comments.

WFB is a tool, make it do what you want, It cannot do everything for you, Know its and your limitations and make decisions based on that.
