I don't see how that could be occurring like that. These are completely different elements in the program. Open one of the saved forms that come with the program and click on the element you are describing and then go to the properties. You will see that an email address is not a text field element.

I had a similar issue with the form, i could not make sense of, and it was me, NOT THE FORM

Of all the CC programs I have found this one the most difficult, and i hate to tell SCOTT and everyone else, WE NEED A BASIC, and the all whistles version (we only have the latter)

It does toooooo much and for us novices toooooo much confuses.

I would uninstall the application and then run CCcleaner then reinstall. Something strange is going on.

Uninsatalled, ran Glary Utilities, reinstalled, no change...any other suggestions?

Shayne, first off, thank you for the video as it clearly shows you are having a problem. As I see it, no matter what you select, you get a 'text' box, not what you select. A couple of things here. Do you have the latest version of Web Form Builder installed? Second, you might uninstall and re-install it as Rolly described above. Third, when you install it, or any CC program, if you are running windows then install as 'administrator' as this seems to cure some problems. I hope this helps. If not, you might want to open a support ticket as your next option and one of the tech guru's should be able to assist.

- ran Glary again
- downloaded a new copy (yes I am running the latest version on Windows 7)
- reinstalled as administrator

No difference...

I am going to open a ticket, will let you know how it turns out.
