When I set up my form to integrate with Paypal, everything seemed to work but I got an error message from Paypal :

"The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details." (That's my Paypal setting.)

It seems like encrypting the button would be important to prevent hackers. How can I include a Paypal encrypted button on my form or on one of my website pages?

You cannot. You will need to disable those if you want to use Web Form Builder or Shopping Cart Creator.

Well, I may have arrived at the simplest solution. It seems that the Paypal button is "encrypted" if you use their HTML generated code with their Button Generator. I don't think the button is "encrypted" per se, but Paypal will not accept any other button information presented to them in your specific account. (i.e. the button information clicked on and presented to Paypal must match the button information that they have on account with you.) So I simply took their HTML generated by their 'button generator" and inserted the code with the HTML coder insert tool with VSD and it seems to work just fine.

So the Button is not "encrypted" , but hackers will not be able to mess with the code and present some other information to Paypal. You can redirect the payer to your website after the transaction is completed.
