Hi Guys,

I have created my form and everything is fine until I submit it. Once I click submit, I get the following error:

Your form could not be submitted for the following reason(s):

Failed to send an email to "clients_email_address".

..... but the form still sends fine anyway. I have the notification and auto responder set up and these also work fine. I have checked permissions etc on the storage folder and other folders and I have them set fine as was instructed when I researched on the forums for another issue.

Any ideas on how to stop this?

My form is on my site @ http://www.dakotaitdesign.com/contact.html and you are more than welcome to test it.

Thanks folks :)

Sounds like you don't have a proper email enter in the response message to you.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Hi Eric,

I have double checked the email addresses etc and I have it configured the way Scott had his configured in a screen shot he had in another thread. It sends the form to me as well as back to the client who filled it out. But the error still appears??

Would it have anything to do with permissions at all with the host maybe??

Scott, would you have any ideas? It's driving me demented!!

I'm thinking it's a server email setup that's the problem.

The send mail is a lot different then on my host.
Sendmail Path:/usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i -Lsender=w167332

Hi Eric,

What's the sendmail path on your hosts server?

I did initially have a look at the server SMTP settings, but decided against changing anything until I asked all the kind people on the CoffeeCup forums first :D

Thanks Eric....... where can I find the Send Mail path file in order to change it? Or do I have to go through the host to check it out??

I've tried changing a few things and testing and I keep getting the same message. I wish it was more specific. I'll open a ticket with the host and see where we go from there.

Thanks :D

My Form submits ok and I get a copy of the form data to my email however the form is not being sent to the user who fills out the form. I know this because I act as the user filling out the form (to test) and use a separate valid email address and find nothing there (not even in spam folder.....AND I also notice in my main email where i get the form results is followed by another email that states the following:

The original message was received at Thu, 26 Jul 2012 12:25:50 -0700 from webmaster999@localhost

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- [ContactEmail:]
(reason: 550 5.1.1 <]@p3nlhg896.shr.prod.phx3.secureserver.net>... User unknown)
(expanded from: [ContactEmail:])

----- Transcript of session follows ----- ... while talking to [127.0.0.1]:

"ContactEmail:" is the name I used to identify the email address and it is loaded properly under the Notifications Tab under form settings (Notification Message - Reply-To: field...AND the Auto-Response Message - To: field) but still cannot figure out what im doing wrong.

Please help - Thanks
