Hi, am I right that this feature is in development because it isn't ticked on the product page. Be great to automatically display the results of polls etc. Also will it be possible to have multiple instances of the same, say Voting form, associated with individual text elements on the same webpage? Great work as usual CC Team. Matt

Thanks Eric, as always you are extremely helpful, for which many thanks. Will start having a play with the 2.1 over the weekend. Just an elaboration. What I want to do is publish a series of texts which will reside on the same page with something akin to a "Like" feature with the number results being displayed under the individual text being "voted" on so to speak. Will have a play, but your expertise is always welcome. And tips to speed up my learning curve??? Thanks in advance. Matt

BTW I have used CC for here:

and going live with a couple of shops too (currently behind the scenes).

What I did is setup the form to only submit to a mysql. No emails. Then I set the confirmation to redirect back to the page with the form to get a refresh so you see the updated data being pulled from the mysql. The mysql data is being loaded through an iframe that's tied to a php page that does all the grunt work in the background. Let me know if you need some more directions.:)

Hi Eric, many thanks yet again. Yep, I get the idea and thanks for the tip. Two things, sorry to be a pain pal. I notice from your voting link, it would appear that IP addresses are not trapped and I voted multiple times. Is it possible to trap IP's to minimise the possibility of fraud. Second. My new project is setting up a small text competition. What I need to do (on the same webpage) is:

Text One...blaaaaa
Vote for this text (votes cast displayed)

Text Two...blaaaaa
Vote for this text (votes cast displayed)

Text Three...blaaaaa
Vote for this text (votes cast displayed)

Is this do-able? So your help on those two issues greatly appreciated. Kind regards. Matt

I redid the mysql script to prevent users from voting again. The form is only available if you haven't voted. I'll put some instructions back up in a day or so.:)
