I like what you've done with the updated calendar program but please, no more "themed" products until you give us the tools to modify them.
None of these themes will work in any design I've done which make them useless and therefore makes the program unusable in my opinion.
At least make a more generic theme before you post the update.
Other than that I am a faithful user of your products.
Keep up the good work!

Hiya Charles,
One of the great things about the new calendar program is that it's done using CSS which really gives you a lot of versatility in your theme because you can change it within that css file to be whatever you want. I realize it's not as easy as just grabbing a theme and going, but it's definitely more alterable than it was as flash outside of the program so that's pretty cool.
Hopefully a theme editor will be added to the program in the near future as that would definitely be a great addition to it.

Exactly! By giving users direct control and access to the files, you can make any changes you like to match your website. With the Flash version you had no control at all.
I am sure eventually we will have some sort of customizer, but we did not want to make that for the first build until we learn more from our users on exactly what they wanted to customize.

I'm impressed with the new calendar also. I think at some time, a theme editor would be a great addition to the library. Keep up the good workl.

I like the changes to the Web Calendar but there are some basic changes that I would like to see with any updates:
1.) Automatic/Manual insertion of holidays.
2.) The ability to insert "Name" of calendar above month
3.) Option to add mini calendars previous month and next month
4.) A generic themed "all white" calendar with option to change text colors and fonts and font sizes

Here is a great site with a bunch of holidays that you can import into your calendar.

It is true you could change it in CSS but wouldn't you have the hassle of having to do that everytime you modified the calendar?

Only if you modify the output. If you made the changes to the theme, you would never have to make the changes again.

Yep that's the cool thing about it, being that it's a CSS based program, we don't have to worry so much about theme changes as we did about the flash one because it's a separate file and makes it a whole lot more versatile than flash was. The calendar main files will just call for the CSS file without regard to any changes so you can alter it all you like and it won't matter! Yaaaay! Can't wait to get home to really check this out!
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
