Bio: Chris is the owner and primary consultant at Eco Houses of Vermont. Chris' passion for applying modern building science to our houses is evidenced through his work on projects, both new builds and retrofits as well as his volunteer work for the Passive House Alliance of Vermont and the Homebuilders and Remodelers of Northern Vermont.
The fact that we can now, with modern building science, build super energy efficient homes that are not significantly more expensive than standard homes but use 90% less energy to heat and cool spurs EHofVt to build, educate and spread the word about these happy and exciting times we now live in.
Please learn more about Passive House and other Super Insulated house/building standards. We really can live in comfortable, healthy, durable and beautiful homes without trashing the planet to heat it. -
