OK, so over the last several months I've seen quite the variety of "usability" issues on this topic. Some folks (myself included *thankfully) are experiencing NO problems what-so-ever, and don't have the settings tweaked in any way. Others are chasing their tails, and pulling out their hair.

What I'd like to know, just for sake of interest, is what hardware and settings are you using, and are you one of the lucky's or one of the baldy's?

For instance, I'm running an HP Pavilion Entertainment PC series laptop Model #dv6-1359wm. Intel Core Duo processor, came with 4gb RAM, now has 8gb. All CC Software works flawless, with no special settings required (ie, no Windows XP SP3 compatible mode, no run as administrator).

I'm wanting to see the correlation (if any) between types of hardware and settings, and the problems that are being experienced. Thanks ahead of time, to those who are willing to participate in this. Unfortunately, there won't be a door-prize though.

Well, I'm having major problems such that I'm probably going to have to abandon CC altogether unless I can find workarounds.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, and both the Form Builder and Photo Gallery Creator have issues where the right side (and bottom) of the panels are cut off so you can't access the controls. Resizing the window doesn't help, nor do running in compatibility mode or as administrator. I even tried setting my screen resolution down to where it was on my old XP machine, and turning off the discrete video card and running only on the integrated motherboard video. No joy. Attached are screen shots of what I see when I try to use either program.

The reason you cannot see this option may be that you are using Large Custom DPI settings. You will need to change this to a Normal DPI for the program to work. Here's how you can determine if you are:

For Windows XP
Go to your Desktop, right-click it, and select Properties. Next, click the Settings Tab and press the Advanced button -- you will now see a DPI setting. If this is set to Large/120 DPI, set it to Normal/96. If you'd like to see this process in action, you may want to watch this video tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AlhFUMcA … mp;index=0

For Windows Vista
Go to your Desktop, right-click it, and select Personalize. Select Adjust Font Size (DPI), located in the upper left-hand corner of the window. This will display the DPI setting. If it is set to Large/120 DPI, set it to Normal/96 DPI. If you'd like to see this process in action, you may want to watch this video tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hqKk-nsa … mp;index=1

For Windows 7
Go to your Desktop, right-click it, and select Personalize. Select Display, located in the lower left-hand corner of the window. Then select Set Custom Text Size (DPI). This will display the DPI setting. If it is set to Large/120 DPI (125%), set it to Normal/96 DPI (100%).

Scott, you are the EFFING MAN! First time I've ever bought a PC that had the defaults set that way, it never occurred to me to check it.

I have my CC software back! Open the cask, bring on the dancing girls!

Hi Guys, I'm running Windows 7 Professional 64bit. My system is a Home grown thing. With a 2 year old EVGA MOBO (sorry can't remember the model#). I have an Intel dual core 3.0GHz proc, 4GB of RAM, 2 EVGA 8800 GX (256MB) video cards (with dual monitors). I've put no tweeks in place.

I'm having absolutely no problems with any of my Coffee Cup software. I've even just loaded it onto my HP Pavilion Entertainment PC series laptop Model #DV9743CL and that one has no issues either.
