At the risk of sounding crass is there a chance you'll share who that is so we don't go there? I for one would never want to go to a place that would do that!

For what it is worth. I have been with inmotionhosting.com for over two years now. At some point I tried another service just to see the difference and by far inmotion is the best web hosting company out there. The customer support (which i think is the most important), is bar none.

Thanks again everyone, Tassie, that's really too bad. Our view is to be consistent and simple on the back end(with cs). I have been hosting sites for a while, but not on a commercial basis. It seems not planning for growth is one of the biggest mistakes in hosting. Start small, but think big sort of thing(show product and community leadership while turning a profit).

I have used only 3 different web hosting companies in the past. The first one went under (I dont remember the name anymore) and I could not even contact them to try to recover my data. The second one was Blue Domino (sorry Coffee Cup don't know if you still own this site or not) and now I'm with GoDaddy. Of the 3 I am extremely happy with GoDaddy, Though after reading these posts I'll need to make sure they are backing up my sites regularly and keeping them. I've had no customer support issues on the 2 or 3 times I needed to call them. I've been with them for the last 3 years and I have only needed to call them 2 or 3 times. The uptime and availability of my sites has been outstanding.

Those are key thing for me.

I have found no better hosting company than inmotionhosting.com. Their support is much like CoffeeCup and their servers are very fast.
