hiya Ken,

I think you meant to post http://artworksbyjansorenson.com :) just forgot the http:// is all :)

Site looks very nice, simple yet elegant all at the same time. Need to get a couple of your menu links functioning, but other than that it all seems to work real nice :)

Hi Ken, I actually like your site, it's nice and clean and I always like them colours graphity (that's a made up word).
Just a couple of things when you click on "Artists statement" and "History of exhibits" the links only work on the first word eg Artists and History. I think users would prefer to be able to link on all of the underline parts.
Another thing and this is a personal opinion on what I would do on "Gallery" page I would of put the thumbnail pics at the top or the side. It can sometimes be easy to miss when it's at the bottom. Like I say that's only a personal view.

Apart from that It's a quality site and very nicely done.

Great job Ken. I am also a big fan of simple.

Dave, Thanks for your comment. I'm working on a Photography site for myself, I think I get better the more I do. I'm a Mechanical Designer by trade and looking at Web Design and Photography for additional income in retirement, when I get there. Site in development "Focusbykenmcdade.com "

Hi Ken,

I notice something the other people didn't mention yet, and that is that the placement of your objects you use for menus/page switching on the different pages isn't consistent, I mean they shift sometimes to the left or to the right a little bit, or are placed somewhat lower or higher now and then. This makes page switching 'restless' and gives your site a less professional look.

Artwork is good but the looks of the website can be improved, it just happens over time as the site ages and you get more and more ideas. Just keep trying different/new templates. I also get a bit of horizontal scrolling which can be easily fixed.

Your idea of having a black background really brings the ArtWork to life. Overall a nice clean website.

Ken that's an awesome piece of work dude! The main thing is, it works.

I would have liked to nit-pick on the website's design in terms of typography, balance, framing of contents and colour harmony, but that's just being overly critical -- so I'll lay off my anal side, and congratulate you on a site done well. It's simple, functional and is easy to get around.

BUT if you held me at knifepoint and demanded a suggestion, I'd say "Lighten the background (white maybe?) and apply dark text (possibly black). IMHO, gradient backgrounds can go horribly wrong when viewed on different computer systems and browsers, so just a tip here. Cheers dude."
My tee shirt site http://www.teedojo.com, warmly and fuzzily done with SCC + SCD. I kinda like it even if I've yet to sell any shirts! Hah!

Catch me and say hi!. I don't bite, but I will help you with your website so you can kickstart your web presence today.
