Back in Nov. of 76 til 78 on the USS Albany CG-10 heavy cruiser. We had the naval tactical data systems and we had one game or I guess several but the OS's (system operators) favorite was "Star trek". We Data Systems Technicians did not like to let them play the game because they with such great enthusiasm hit the buttons so rapidly and with such great pressure so as to always break a bunch of console switches during a session of playing Star Trek. The military grade switches had silver in them and were very expensive and it was extra added work having to replace a bunch of switches.
When we were at the Cannes film festival in late 77 I believe George Peppard was visiting in the computer room and CIC and we put up a canned message routine on the display with the dogfight game for him. ( Welcome Blue Max) something similar to that effect. I picked up the games tape from the Kennedy, they were in Naples harbor. I took the train back 79 miles to Gaeta, all of the Italians looked at the big mag tape and inquired Musica? My reply See Musica!
