The printers are all pretty affordable. The resin on the other hand is in the 4th dimension.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

The Micro3D uses ABS, PLA or Nylon 1.75mm filaments (is that what you are meaning when you say resin?).
Not too bad pricing wise per 1 kg spools at $25 (US). Heck, even Monoprice has 1.75 mm printer filaments now! The Micro3D will be able to use most any filament that is in the 240 degrees Fahrenheit and below melting range. You can rewind the spool that is inside the base of the unit with filament of your choosing (I think it holds 225 grams of filament), or feed larger spools externally to the print head.

I'm excited about it. I managed to get one of the $299 December delivery spots (if it stays on time).

As an FYI:
A 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm PLA filament is roughly 330 meters (1080 feet)

A 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm ABS filament is roughly 400 meters (1310 feet)
