Can't type a sentence without the cursor jumping around. Anybody else experience this frustration? Any fixes? Thanks.

Two places off the top of my head are when typing in forum fields and replacing text in the url field. Cursor will jump ahead or back so your text is a mess and doesn't make sense if you fail to notice.

This happens on my laptop and desktop. Both Win7 nd IE8.

I have googled it and find others have experienced it but no solutions.

Very annoying.

Sorry I am not understanding what you are describing. Working in the forums here I see no such thing. Always works for me as it should. Can you give more specific information?

Ok, I'm typing this sentence and not looking at the screen. The cursor will jump to a new location liktence and messes up my text.ious sene in the middle of the prev

What just happened is the cursor jumped back into the sentence and began inserting the text inside of the previous sentence. It happened here too but I corrected it before posting.

Sounds like a computer resource issue to me. I post a lot of messages a day and I have never experienced anything that. We also don't have anything running on our forums that would cause something like that.

Sorry :(

That used to happen to me a LOT before I found a resource to turn off/change the sensitivity of my touchpad, but that only accounts for the laptop, not the desktop.

I have a wired mouse and it happens on desktop and laptop. And it only happens in the IE8 browser. Firefox appears OK and pplications like MS Word all work fine.

mine is wired too and does that all over the place, not real often anymore though now that I updated the driver a bit. It doesn't sound like a mouse problem you have though if it's only in the browser, and doesn't happen to me in any of the browsers so I'll assume this may be a Win7 issue.
