Wondering if there was any good web design contest around. It would be nice to find a contest for the best site layout, graphics, flash, web applications, seo, and overall usability.

Never entered a web design contest, but I think it would be a swell idea.

It could be set up a catagories:

Newb -maybe $200
Expert -maybe $400
Best Overall -maybe $600

and in those have:

html only
php


Does anyone have any thoughts?

There have been some attempts of such a contest by some people, but it all ended up unfinished...

Amen Chad, but somehow(for reasons I don't even have a clue), I apparently ended up on cc's s-list so I don't think my entry will do any good, but there's a lot of excellent designers on here and I have seen some that makes VSD scream.

Also I would love to see the work of Cary, Tom, Adam(info is a design God), Bill, and others to learn new styles and techniques.

I just hope they pay me for my affiliate work.
