Hi All

Our website www.periwinkleflowers.com has been created using CoffeeCup software EXCLUSIVELY. We are very proud of it, especially how we used Photo Gallery and Form Builder together to create an order page. As a brick and mortar shop we already have payment processing and have to enter orders manually anyway, so had no need for an "e-commerce solution".

Won't you all please take a look and tell us what you think?

Any constructive criticisms would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I think the site looks very good. People have asked in the past for samples of sites that have been made with CoffeeCup software. I think your site's a good example. ;)

Hi Peri,

Love the click on image idea. One little critique: I would make the info on the bottom of the home page a bit larger. As it is, is has the impression of small, legal mumbo jumbo print that no one ever reads rather than the important introduction/summary of your business.

Thanks Karin

Yes the small print at the bottom of the first page is there ONLY for SEO. We didn't want any text on the front page, but google doesn't index sites with no text content. And if we hide it (by making it the same colour as the background) google's robots might find out and send us back to the bottom of the list. I'm thinking we might make that text a colour which is very similar, but not exact to the background, so that it would be effectively hidden. But I need to do more research so as not to shoot my self in the foot.

Cheers

Thanks Adam R.

Why doesn't the CoffeeCup website have a "Site of the (Day Week Month)"

I'm not suggesting our site should make the cut (although that would be cool) :) , but if the main criterion for consideration was that the site be designed using CoffeeCup software, it would be a good way to showcase what CoffeeCup can do.

Perhaps a feature for the redesigned CoffeeCup website?

Hi Peri,

ONE more thought. I would recommend adding more shots of color to the table flower arrangements on your homepage...it took me a while to figure out what those were supposed to be - even on my huge, cintiq screen which makes everything look great.

I like your site of the month/week idea.

LOVED IT! Enjoyed the 'pixelated' look of the home page.... fun!
I do have one question: On the order page, on the menu to scroll down to make a choice, how does a person tell visually, which one he/she has chosen?

The arrangements are across the top of the page and can be scrolled through, which is great... I really like that design. Maybe you could put the 'name' of each one as a mouseover, or in another way, as a person scrolls through? That way, when they go down to the list to choose, they know the exact name of the one they like. OR, did I miss something when I was there, that tells this?

Thanks pixi

If you hover over the main picture after having clicked on one of the smaller ones, it drops down a name. You're right it needs work and I appreciate your feedback. I'm going to wait until coffeecup gets around to releasing their long-promised shopping cart software before I try re-designing.

:)

BTW I clicked your clown button...very disappointing ;)
