Hello All!

We are looking at the possibility of creating a Guest Book application. I have all sorts of ideas but I would like to know what you would like to see in a guest book.

No idea is too big or small. ;) ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

I would love to see a CoffeeCup Guest Book app.

Easy to maintain.
Complete control over fonts/styles/color
Ability to ban a user (host control only)
Parental control options
Ability to delete messages (host only)
Fun to use...emoticons...icons....sumbit picture.... E-Learning Specialist

I also would like control over the layout and I feel an important feature is Captcha since Spammers love guestbooks. Any security features would be great. Hi! My name is Debra and I am a chocoholic.

I could actually use one next week. Having one with CoffeeCup's ease of use would save me a TREMENDOUS amount of time. I would like to see the data stored in either XML or Excel format. Easy to install is critical. The ability to write greetings and thank you for joining type messages is also critical.

Think it would be possible to have a flash comment box for people to leave comments...? Or shout out box?

Any new information on this guest book software? I am using another web-based program that has a monthly or yearly fee. I'd rather be free of those fees. Keep developing that guestbook software, don't give up. :o)

I just need something simple. I have a number of clients who want a guestbook that just allows users to post their name and a comment. Some smileys are appreciated but certainly not required.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
