Hello fellow CC user's, my first post and i see many of you have already requested a forums package to add to their outstanding suite of software, I am new to web design but learning fast "thank you CC". I have been contacted by many of my fellow video gamers to make guild/clan sites and a forum is an integral part of them. So please add my support to the rest of the users who request this package.

And Id like to add my vote to this. Yes please to forum software. Ive had a look at some of the free stuff as well and been put off by the settting up you need to do.
I quite like the look of this forum in its clear simplicity.

One small problem with forum software is that they need a server side database. My current web hosting plan hasnt got php or mysql included as probably some of you out there havent got it either. Some forum programs require that you must stay on-line to use them. This could be a major hurdle. Im not sure if there is any other way to provide users with input to a forum without a mysql database. One solution of course is to upgrade or change web hosts.
Food for thought.

php is not necessarily required, but a database is required. That would be CC's challenge to come up with a Forum setup/i/f to meet the needs.
