How do I hook up to the search engines with CoffeeCup? Godaddy said they would charge me $34 for a package to hook me up... is that the only way?
any tips on hooking up with a search engine that would be good to know?

The search engines will find your site on their own, but services offered will help to get your ranking higher. CoffeeCup offers a similar service as well:
