I've purchased the Responsive Sitemapper Themes 20 pack, but can't find documentation on how to install them. I've extracted each of the .cst files into one directory, but now what?

Pretty much the same as most of the programs, usually you can double click the files and they will install. If that doesn't work (which it doesn't do for every program) then go to:

File > Import Theme Package...

That will open a dialog to point to the location of the files to import.

For more information on the program (if you haven't already found this) you can see this article:

Hope that helps :)

hehe no worries, you're not the first or last to ask that question :P

Good luck with it and have fun! It's a great update to the program without a doubt!

Could I have lost themes in an update as I uninstalled an older version and reinstalled the latest version of Sitemapper? Suddenly I can't find any .cst files.

Hiya Chris,

Yes that is most likely what happened as the new Sitemapper does not use the old themes. The new sitemapper has responsive themes now so the themes are all redone. You can still use the old sitemapper if you don't want to get new themes, but they just ran a special on them, not sure if it's still going on or not, but you can check with support and see. There was a special for the a bundle of themes and the new module for editing the themes in the program too. If you didn't get the email, check your spam box and trash and make sure you're signed up for the newsletter. Good luck on it, it's quite a big update so it is a whole lot more efficient than it ever was :)

Thanks JoAnn. So on a general use basis, would you recommend updating a sitemap every time merchandise changes on that site ???

I'm gonna let someone else take on that question as I'm really not sure how often you should do that. Google changes their system so often these days that it may not be how it was the last time I made one.

When you submit a site map you can specify how often the content changes.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

After looking at the specific detail on a sitemap from Sitemapper, I'm inclined to think that for those occasions where you change inventory, a new Sitemapper should be uploaded to reflect something new going onto the 'shop'. Not so much to get the old stuff off but to get the new reflected in any search engines. Pretty new to Sitemapper though so... Thanks
