I would like to do exactly what John wanted to do - have Paypal redirect the customer back to a form page on our site to obtain additional information. So is this not possible? I created a static? page on SCC I called "thank you" that has a form that needs to be submitted with additional info in order for us to to deliver the order. What path do I instruct Paypal to autoreturn to this page - plumbfarms.com/shop/---?

Sorry, but that is not an option in our software at this time.

I have a question here about this Scott. I apparently "do" have my PayPal redirecting back to a Thank You page on my site. I haven't tested it in a while so I'll do that today or tomorrow, but.... When I go to PayPal's setup for getting the Identity Token for the SCC Pro Beta version this is what it says about the Auto Return part:

Payment Data Transfer (optional)
Payment Data Transfer allows you to receive notification of successful payments as they are made. The use of Payment Data Transfer depends on your system configuration and your Return URL. Please note that in order to use Payment Data Transfer, you must turn on Auto Return.

Payment Data Transfer:
On
Off
Identity Token: (not showing the token of course :P)

I'm confused here because the Pro version we "need" to use the Identity token setup right? Or am I totally misinterpretting what I'm reading.... again... :P

Well I don't want to confuse people with SCC Pro setup configurations at this point since it is not released. ;) The big feature of SCC Pro is the inventory management. If the return url is not entered in, then this can create problems with the way inventory is deducted from your shop.

All this info will be documented on the release of pro.

Scott, when SCC Pro is released, i will upgrade instantly so i will ask you a definitive question
Im test driving a shop now but its under an iframe. I really wanted to do it like that to make it blend with the overall design of the rest of the site.

1 - Do you strongly recommend as a MUST , quit the iframe idea and make it a standalone shop ??? Because if you do,i will forget about this and will make "Shop" a button on the site and make it go to the shop itself, not to the iframe container. i have no problem to make the payment on TOP frame, the RETURN is the problem.

2 - Shop home might be my site index or shop home ?
3 - Should i create all the site around the shop using the extra pages or should i better code them in html alone because i have flash content ...???

Thanks ! Your answer related to the I-frame will be desicive to move on with my work

1. We most likely will never adjust the software to work with an frame. It really is just something that shouldn't be done and the time and effort to look into it can be spent on things like coupon codes or digital downloads.

2. The shop home is your shop.

3. I think you can accomplish pretty much any site design with Shopping Cart Designer. Take a look at swag.coffeecup.com All of that was done with Designer.
