Hiya max,

Nice products, very well made, are you creating these yourself? If so, nice work!

Now for the site... I have some suggestions for you:

Update the images in your header, they look horribly pixelated and poor quality compared to your product images.

I think it was a mistake to change your Home page's name. I think you will find that your visitors may not realize that it is actually the home page when they are on the Special Deals page and will be confused when they go to another page and are unsure how to get back to the main site's home page. Not a good practice really, you should always have a Home or Main or something similar to tell them it's the main page of the site or the starting area.

This may just be my opinion here, but I don't think stating that the testimonials on your site are the 5 star ones is a good idea. That actually insinuates there are lower ones too. Might be better if you just say they are Testimonials and not say what rating anything is.

I didn't read through all the text so I have no feed back there, I'm sure others will do so and help out there. Good luck with the shop and I hope you do well, very pretty items you have there :)

Hi Jo!
Thanks a lot for your advices :) !!!!
Yes, I made the website myself: hand made pens are a small lovely business I decided to start in a free time because I love woodturning art....effectively I'm an electronic designer and software programmer full time....:P

In the next days I'll try to apply your advices.
Stay tuned!!

Bye from Italy!!! Max

Hiya Max,

That definitely looks much better. I would also suggest making your text just a little bit larger on the content as it's pretty small. I have good eyes, but not everyone does :P Looks much nicer now though good job :)

Hi Max,

I certainly agree with Jo Ann that the new header image with a pen in close-up looks much better!
I noticed, though, that the image has a file size of 537kb, which is much larger than it needs to be and slows down the loading of the page. I changed it to a jpg image and compressed it to slightly less than 100kb without much noticeable quality drop. Take a look at the attached image and see what you think...
