Can you open a support ticket for this issue Kevin? I think we are going to need a bit more information. If you can also tell me what Operating System(32 or 64-bit), Service Pack and IE version you have, that would help as well.
Once I get all this info, we should be able to figure out what is going wrong.

Scott,
Fisrt impressions look good but unfortunately I won't be able to deploy any forms without the ability to change the form background colour (at least) to match my sites. How far off do you think this functionality is ?
Also, on the number field is there a way nit to have the increase / decrease arrows ?
Keep up the good work
Steve.

Right now we are just writing down all the feedback and seeing which items people want the most. From there we will create a to-do list and see what we should do first. The arrow keys for numbers will appear differently depending on the browser you are using. We are trying to use all native browser settings for maximum compatibility.

Unfortunately, I find this version as a bad development, then I completely lose the possibility to control the text and fields that I want them.

Kenneth, please see my post here at http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/form-bu … post169391
If you have other thoughts please detail them or show us examples of programs or web forms that accomplish this, we would love to take a look.

How does one go about opening a new topic for discussion?
Become an administrator, I guess.
Thing is - I can find no suitable thread in which to post my views that:
1. The new Web Form Builder comes free in a Mega Pack bundle. What if I already have everything in that bundle and the Old Form Builder besides? What happened to the lifetime upgrade policy we've come to know and luv? Am I being cynical? Or is Coffee Cup?
2. In a similar context, what stopped Coffee Cup from keeping abreast of web developments and trends? Firestarter overboard? The fire went out as soon as it hit the water. (And there's no bigger fan, you know. Just see my affiliate links at http://www.good-internet.com.au [resources] - despite the impost on my livelihood.) The link landing should display a nice little Flash animation, by the way.
3. How come I get offered everything I already have in a bundle for a fee, just to upgrade an App I've already paid for, via an email marketing broadcast ...
4. ... but I'm left to discover by accident or other misfortune that an App I've paid for is no longer relevent and just floated out with the tide?
So where has the trust and credibility gone?
Maybe Adobe is to blame by wielding its monopolistic muscle. Maybe Microsoft and/or Google should take a sharp shot in the butt for being unable to build a half-decent web browser. Who knows?
Isn't this why we came to Coffee Cup in the first place? To overthrow this exploitative, self-serving, corporate bs?
Tell me if I'm wrong. Ban me from drinking more coffee. Strip me of my corporate mug and dignity. Throw my time and hard work onto the scrapheap and invite my clients to abuse me because their animation no longer works. But don't, in the words of the great slick himself, "Treat me like a fool".
... or maybe just ... on me.

At the top left area of each forum section, if you have proper 'rights' (which everyone has some sections that they do, some they don't) you will see a button as pictured in the attached .png file.

Not exactly what they meant... Everything that came in the bundle that you purchased, is supported for the LIFE of that software (Not your life, not the life of the bundle as named regardless of how many new titles are added). The 'issue' of free upgrades has been answered (frankly beaten like a dead horse).

You basically answered yourself in the next quoted snippet... Adobe has acknowledged that THEY broke something (btw - something that other software besides CC's became broke because of the upgrade to Flash). They have said that it will be fixed on the next upgrade, to this point I don't think they've given an eta for release of the fix. Once they have 'fixed' the issue, I would think life would resume to normal with Firestarter (using the current version). That being said, CC does have the right to determine that a particular product should be end of life'd.

Well, Phil - thanks for the lesson!
I don't see any "Start New Thread" in my browser window.
And that's not the main issue.
We can agree to disagree, if you like.
I didn't sign on to anything believing it was at the mercy of third parties ...
Adobe owes me nothing. But looks as if we're all at its mercy.
