Image Mapper Sticky Note Option

Is there an option in Image Mapper that might allow a person to click onto an element of an image and have a pop-up display?

For example, having the ability to mouse over an image tool-tip and being able to click onto that point where perhaps a re-sizable yellow sticky note that contains additional info would be pretty cool. I've linked to txt or doc files in the past but that approach lacks the 'pazazz' I'm hoping for... :-)

TIA

There's nothing built in but you could easily incorporate Colorbox into it.:)

Hadn't really thought about colorbox and haven't used it before but will take a look at it. The 'additional info' that I was thinking about would be typically for more text type data. I've done it with MS Word doc files and text files but thought that something that might pop up a drop shadowed sticky type note with additional information when clicked would be pretty cool.

something like this incorporated into the program where a person might not have to re-create an image every time they just want to tweak a note.

You could use a javascript/jquery tooltip script also which would give a mouseover popup instead of a click pop up. That's what would usually be used to give more info about a word/item/etc. Something else to look into :)

Here's an example using Colorbox with images.
http://progrowerhtml.coffeecup.com/imagemapper/popup/
I generated the map with Coffeecup image mapper then pasted the class for the colobox into the html.

Cool - did that with Colorbox? That's pretty much what I was looking for.
