Will this require a full uninstall/reinstall?

sorting from show all files to show html files freezes the editor program completely.
vista 64bit (darnitall - I did not expect that on this brand new Dell)

Officially, all of our software is supported under Windows XP and Vista 32-bit. However, many of our users are able to use the software with Windows 64-bit running in Window XP Compatibility Mode. Follow these steps to set this up:

1. Right-click the program .exe file and select Properties .
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Select the Run this program in compatibility mode for checkbox and select Windows XP or Vista .
4. Click OK .

If you haven't purchased the software yet, we suggest downloading the trial version of the software to make sure it works as expected.

I just uploaded a new version of the HTML Editor that contains a few changes/enhancements and features:

What you will find in Build 304:
  • Corrected problem with check project dependencies on upload not working.
  • Corrected problems using Website Color Schemer Eye Dropper tool in the editor
  • Corrected problem with not being able copy files to a Website Project from the desktop.
  • Corrected problem with CSS Menu Designer submenu mouseover font color not being used.
  • Corrected problem with Website Projects file tree crashing when using a network UNC path.

Enjoy!

My only wish is that an SDK was available that would allow for third party plugins/extensions. I know, probably a bit out of scope, just a wish and thought. Again, kudos on the latest release!

We've given that some thought. What types of plugins/extensions would you like to see?

The plugins (extensions) I'd love to see in CCHE are ones that utilize different frameworks such as jquery, mootools, lightbox...etc. I realize these are simply implemented by hand but I'll be first to admit that if a tool/wizard exists that helps me get the job done faster I use it.

Thanks for the quick update, do we need to uninstall each time for new updates? Or can we just install it over the current installation?

You can install directly over if you like or uninstall. It is a user preference. Whatever you do, just make sure the editor is closed before you start. :)

It's all excellent, really good.

Like the page and the software.

Only one more thing I would like to see is a larger bundle of the templates to go with the html editor instead of all the smaller bundles.

Some might like to have the full set as a valuable resource.
