Thanks for moving my post, Jo Ann.

I don't post here often and should have paid more attention.

I can't believe I'm the only one who ever made such a request, which to me seems so evident. Do you know if the good folks at CoffeeCup are planning on implementing that kind of feature?

Regards,
Alan

No idea Alan, I do know a handful have asked for it in various posts and emails, but not sure if they have this in the plans or not.

Perhaps a really dedicated DIY'er could do it with AutoHotKey (http://www.autohotkey.com/)

Hello

Would it be possible for CoffeeCup HTML Editor to remember and lock onto
the tab size when many documents are open,

This is a feature that Google Chrome employs and is very nice.

As, when closing a lot of tabs in the editor using the 'X' on the tabs, the remaining tabs 'GROW'
as each one is closed and they are constantly moving away from the mouse, requiring
you to keep chasing them in order to close another. Its very frustrating when there are many tabs to close! :-)

This feature would be really neat.

Thankyou

One other request if I may, when closing files, could the option
to 'Close all but this' be added to the files menus.

Therefore closing all files but leaving the current open file.... 'Open'.

This is really usefull to have.

Nice addition! That is something I would like to see as well. :P

I know this is a tall order, but the engine should at least partially be in place (i.e. the code cleaner):

I would like it if I could place the caret near a tag, such as a <div> and have the editor indicate where the corresponding closing tag is located (e.g. </div>). That would be a HUGE help in so many ways. And the best implementation would also allow me to click on or near the closing tag and have the opening tag indicated.
The sky is high, unless you're in orbit!

Hi. I was just wondering if ASP / VBScript highlighting is far away or even considered?

I do not believe this will be an option in the HTML Editor.

Hi everyone,

I wanted to write to voice my wish list but first I want to make it known that Im very happy with CC, It's just that by addressing the folllowing, CC would be over the top.

1.) The text in the editor loses it's text formatting when editing a PHP file (all the text turns plain black)
2.) In addition to correcting this issue, Please follow in suit with Notepad++ whereas curly braces highlight as pairs (This makes it much easier to read long PHP code)
3.) Make it possible for *.* to be default when performing searches for code within CC

Thats all... Like I've said, CC ROCKS and I'm very pleased with the program, It's just if these issues could be addressed, CC would be unbeatable!!

Thanks so much everyone,

Stuart K

Oooooohhh!!!!! I Second Inger's Post:

When clicking on a start tag, let is highlight the corresponding end tag. Or even if you are working somewhere within say <table></table> those tags should be highlighted.

@Inger, You took the words right out of my mouth!!

Hey CC Guys & Gals, If you only make ONE change to CC in the future, PLEAZZZZZZZZZEEEEEEEEEE DO WHATS QUOTED ABOVE.

Thanks
