Does anyone know how I put a slide show onto my web page using the html editor?

Judy!!! It's me - Callie. I thought you were in Miami

Do you already have a particular slide show product in mind, or do you need some suggestions (plus how-to install)?

Glad to see you here! :)

Judy, if you're using Firestarter, here's a video how-to that might help:

HI Callie,

Fancy meeting you here. I am in Miami, but yesterday morning i was up very early and sat oout on the patio writing an article on my little net book. I want to put a sequence of pictures on the page in a slide show fashion. i figure there must be an html code that you can write to make it happen.

Someone suggested embedding a power point presentation, but i only had Open Office on this computer and wasn't sure how to transfer it into coffee cup html editor. Of course when I was trying it, it was later in the evening and i had just come back from dinner and a long walk along the beach...sigh....I'll check out the link you gave me and also look at coffee cup photo gallery which Per suggested.

Thank you both.

Sounds like you're enjoying Florida. Here's another possibility:

See the demos (listed on the left under download). I first saw this in this forum, so maybe someone here is using it and can tell you more.

I used a free script from Scriptocean on my site; the paid (make a donation) version allows for more slides, effects and links - but it was super easy to use:

I'm willing to spend a few $ when I get some more photos ready.

I would second the Photo Gallery program by CC, it's pretty cool and pretty easy to setup and use too. Fairly tweakable too if you are willing to change things in a text file. Give the trial version a check and see if you like it, nothing lost that way and you have 30 days with most trials so that's plenty of time to check it out and make sure it's what you want. Just my 2 cents. :)

I love the Photo Gallery. I also like colorbox.

I may be hallucinating here - but I think someone around here made a slideshow with the CC Photo Gallery by setting it to auto-play and leaving off the thumbnail strip so it would have the same look as the javascript slideshow I mentioned above - just the main photos cycling through over and over again.
