I am using the HTML Editor in Visual Editor mode. I want the background of one of my tables to be gradiant. How do I do this? Thanks

There are various ways to do it but possibly the easiest is to get a picture that is essentially the gradient and set that as your background. For example, if you want this to be a linear gradient from light to dark vertically, you will need an image only a few pixels wide but as long as the page with the gradient on it, like the one shown below (though this is smaller than what you need but it should give you an idea of what to make.

Simply set whatever picture you have as the background and that's it.
