When I go to File, Open, it always goes to the same template directory in the installation of Coffee Cup. That means I must move through many directories to get back to the one I am working in.
I have changed all the directories in Tools, Preferences.
The File, Open command needs a memory!
I hope it has one that can be switched on.
Thanks
File, Open, Directory
rcull,
If you are referring to VSD, I do not have that installed on this computer.
If you are referring to the HTML Editor, click on Tools, click on preferences, click on the directories tab. Set them the way you want them.
Hope this helps.

I am referring to the html editor. But those directory choices do not change the effect of clicking on either File, Open or the icon for Open. That still goes back to templates in the Coffee cup program directories.
That is the way I am used to opening files, but maybe I just have to develop new habits.

rcull,
When I click on file, open, the directory I see is one of my web sites, which is the first directory set at tools, preferences, directory.
I am using HTML Editor 2008 build 242.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
