External Preview not showing

Since installing on new 64 bit W8 machine when I click External Preview the icon appears in task bar but when I click on that it just shows the code view. Similar if I toggle F11 - icon appears & disappears but preview never shows

Take a look at the bottom of the screen when the Editor is open. If you see the attached detail in red, click on it so that it becomes green.

Sounds like a bad install. Try uninstalling it, reboot, and install again.

Re-installed - no change. I notice that when I click the External Preview icon a square containing the preview flashes across screen from icon in tool bar to middle of right hand side and then off the screen. When I click again it flashes in reverse direction back to icon. (Does same thing if I move task bar to left of screen.) The code icon just toggles the code window on/off as normal.

Problem solved. I have 2 screens - primary on right, secondary on left. When I reversed them Preview screen appeared on secondary (right) correctly. When I swapped them back it continued to work OK. Hopefully that's it. Tx for help

Might want to open a ticket and let CC know that, that sounds like a secondary screen bug that they can probably fix if they know about it. :)
