Hi Everyone,

My name is Nikki. I sometimes copy and paste existing Html into coffee cups editor, and of course, this can result in duplicate tags, such as duplicate <body> tags, duplicate <title> tags, etc.

When I try to view my code in the visual editor (I have coffee cup html editor) I get a pop up telling me that I have duplicate tags and to remove them. When I go back to code editor view it will have the duplicate tag highlighted, which makes it easy to delete. But what I would like the editor to do is locate ALL of my duplicate tags for me. Ideally I want it to do this for me even if I am not aware that I have duplicate tags in my document. This way I can delete all my duplicate tags at one time. Is this possible?

Thank you!
Nikki

I think code cleaner will do this for you. I don't have the editor in front of me, but its in the menu.

That's correct. Use Code Cleaner by clicking on Tools > Code Cleaner. It will remove the duplicates for you.

Thank you both very much. I must have missed that. I did try the code cleaner but because there were so many check options, I could not choose the one that would help me do what I wanted.

I unchecked all the options and ran code cleaner and everything is fine.

Thanks so much,
Nikki
