Displayed HTML created in Dreamweaver...

I have a site that I have created in Dreamweaver 8 that I have opened in the latest version of HTML Editor as I have a client that wants to make changes themselves. The issue is how the tables are displayed (see screenshots). Any ideas?

Thanks,

Troy

I think this is one of the problems with 'visual' or WYSIWYG design tools. Most of these types of editors 'fudge' the code to put things where the people designing the page want them. In order to position elements on the page, WYSIWYG editors use a mixture of tables and either absolute or relative positioning. Often, what looks great in one WYSIWYG editor will break completely in another. There is no real way around this as each editor does things differently. I think you will strike this problem with most visual editors and the only real solution would be to have another copy of Dreamweaver for you or your clients to use - though the sheer cost of that software usually prohibits this. CoffeeCup HTML Editor is an absolute bargain when compared to that.

Just my 2 cents.
